The Occupied Parole Board Receives A Refreshed, Upgraded Space

A DCAMM project, Walker Development & Construction Management worked closely with the Massachusetts Parole Board operations management team to create an upgraded space.

Walker Development worked within the requested 16-week timeframe, scheduling subcontractors while adhering to office work hours and court hearings. Safety measures required security personnel to be with the team and to provide background screenings of all partners working in the space daily.

A vestibule and secure reception area included bullet-rated glass along with drywall at code. Walker provided millwork with an impressive lead time due to the integration of the bulletproof material and condensed schedule while in an occupied space. The hearing room included moisture migration and grinding of the floors to install kinetic energy flooring. An extension of the exiting sallyport was installed with a new ADP ramp and secured protection.
