Renovation of an Existing Storefront into a New Day Care Facility

Teddy Bear Village worked with Walker Development to relocate its day care facility while expanding its brand to allow for more enrollment in a new aesthetically pleasing environment. 

The new facility, located in an older building, brought unknown challenges that the Walker team developed solutions for immediately. We worked diligently with the architect and engineer for new plans to meet the build-out schedule and budget.

Walker Development worked closely with the day care owners during the state funding qualification process. This included ensuring everything met the local codes and satisfying childcare rules and regulations with state inspectors and specialty day care inspectors.

In addition to the interior build-out, the play areas and a playground were created, along with walking paths and protection barriers.
