A Full Demolition Design Build to Include New Wellness Rooms and A Welcoming Health Space

As part of an on-going partnership with The Boston Higashi School, Walker Development created a new and expanded health space, delivering solutions and creative inspiration to provide a safe, welcoming environment for the students, family and staff.

With the challenge of working in an occupied, restricted, and secure school building, Walker immediately found solutions without disruption, provided a safe environment, within budget and adhered to a tight schedule.

Highlights of the project included new nurses’ stations, sick/wellness rooms, sprinkler heads, a secure sub-structure, compliant restrooms, an upgraded HVAC system, impressive finishes, a fully secured medications lab with a roll-up security gate and lockers.

An aligned partnership, we are all proud to provide a pleasant, healthy, and secure area for The Boston Higashi School and the caregivers and students.
